Help whenever you can!

If you are willing to dedicate part of your time to us, you can help in our activities and support us in initiatives such as local markets and stands, events and collection of material. If you are good with your camera, you can even shoot and record our events.

You will contribute voluntarily, for free, according to your availability and to our needs!

Volunteer abroad

Since 2013, Energia per i Diritti Umani has been organising work events that give the opportunity to be wholly immersed in the volunteer experiences typical of the international cooperation field.

Whoever participates in a work event will attend a volunteer training so as to come into contact with the local culture and acquire the necessary knowledge to undertake this experience and familiarise with the way experts of cooperation projects think.

Successively, the actual work experience takes place and it basically is a trip to Senegal, Gambia or India, where the initiatives are carried out, for a few weeks. During this period of time our volunteers and the work event participants will work together on practical activities linked to our projects. This will result in a short but intense experience in the field of cooperation and development.

Sustainable Tourism

Energia per i Diritti Umani promotes the intercultural exchange and the development of business activities of the inhabitants of the cities and villages where the association operates in Senegal, Gambia and India.

The purposes of the sustainable tourism project we are about to launch are: the visibility of human rights promotional projects, the meeting with those interested in discovering the realities in which they are travelling, the opportunity for those who are excluded from economic activities to start their own business independently.

All the participants of our Senegalese, Gambian an Indian partner associations projects will have the possibility to decide, in group or autonomously, to give visibility to their project or to the activities linked to it, greeting those travellers who wish to learn about their work, explore the places and meet the people that everyday commit to these human rights promotional projects.

Energia per i Diritti Umani will create a portal that includes all the Senegalese, Gambian and Indian business activities so as to give travellers the possibility to get involved in the ones they are interested in. In this way, a direct relationship will be established between travellers and the staff working on those projects to which all the revenues are destined.
