Those who join a volunteering trip will participate in a training course with us, which takes place every year. The training course allows volunteers to get to know the local culture, obtain the information needed for the trip. Above all, it implies getting in touch with the way of thinking of those who have been carrying out cooperation projects for years.

After the training course, a few days or weeks trip to Senegal, The Gambia or India will take place. The aim of the volunteering trip is to engage both the volunteers of Energia and the trip participants in a joint work to carry out concrete activities related to the projects. The result is a short, but total, immersion experience in development cooperation.
