We support boys and girls from countries less fortunate than ours so they can go to school, take care of themselves, live a dignified life, and remain in their own country and with their family.
We aim to improve the life of the whole community and not just the individual child. SAD develops community projects such as the creation of kindergartens, schools, vital resources, and lifelong learning centers for the entire village known as the Multipurpose Humanist Centers.
With your support an increasing number of people receive rights every day that would otherwise be denied them: health, nutrition, education, and a dignified existence.ย For over twenty years in 12 schools in Senegal, Gambia and India, over 1100 children have been able to study, feed and receive free health care thanks to sponsor and donor support.

Scholarship for Mamut
We paid tuition fees for the second semester of Mamut Jagne (โฌ400). We started supporting him at the age of 10 and today he isย pursuing a Masters in Economics at the University in Pisa. He’s also a middle school teacher in Gambia and attended the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the University of Banjul. A success for all of us. Keur Marietou House for Women and Children opens.
The Keur Marietou House for Women and Children was inaugurated in Pikine, Senegal.ย Inside, the kindergarten, the canteen for children and the library run by the young volunteers of the Network of humanist women of Keur Marietou are already active.
Bandoulu Nursery School is Complete!
The “Luisa Lorena Caputo” nursery school in Bandoulou, Senegal is finished! It is undoubtedly the largest and most beautiful school we have built to date in the villages of Senegal and Gambia.
The Multifunctional Humanist Centers
Between 2003 and 2018 we have created 12 multifunctional humanist centers that provide nursery schools and community resources. The importance of nursery schools should not be underestimated: it is essential for the socio-economic development of a country.
The Prosolidar Foundation Supprts Our Schools
Energia has obtained funding from the Prosolidar Foundation, aimed at supporting the functioning of our nursery schools in Senegal and Gambia.ย The contribution provided by Prosolidar covers one yearโs salary for:ย 10 teachers and 3 directors, cleaning, transportation, reopening of some classes and so much more.
